Born in Yakutat Alaska, the youngest of 13, Gunner quit school at age 15 to work on the docks and by the age of 23 began a full-time career working on Cargo Ships. It was there during long hours and cold nights he developed a deep longing for creating local boat tunes. During a world Pandemic, and stuck in a cargo container, Gunner won his ticket to Nashville, TN by bluffing a guy out of a full house and discovered the taste of Bourbon, Country Music, and the Sweet Tangy Glaze of Southern BBQ. Gunner has spent years playing dive bars, festivals, parties, events and anywhere that would have him. His sound molds Country, Rock, Red Dirt and Delta Blues with a dynamic energy never seen in Alaska.
